Advanced Scale Awareness Control for Ableton Live 12
This pack consists of 11 Max for Live devices all about using Scale Awareness in Ableton Live 12.
You can use those Max for Live devices to set up multiple Scale settings and group multiple tracks to follow multiple Scales in Ableton Live. This works mainly via advanced control settings for Ableton's SCALE MIDI effect. Please watch the tutorial video below to check out how this technique can fix some common problems and helping you to use an advanced Scale Awareness technique.
List of devices and functionality:
For the native SCALE AWARENESS in Ableton Live 12
- Automate Scale Awareness - automate and change the Global Root+Scale setting via (dummy clip) automations or via MIDI controllers
- Monitor Scale Awareness - gives you a Pop-Up window which you can use to display the current scale and root
- Circle of Fifths for Scale Awareness - Control and Set Root+Scale for Scale Awareness via a Circle of Fifth chart
- Scale Awareness Trigger - lets you control Scale Awareness selection via a MIDI Controller
For the Multiple Scale Control technique:
- Circle of Fifths Pop Up Control - Control and Set Root+Scale of the alternative Scale Awareness system
- Multiple Scales Sender - set, automate + control Root+Scales for SCALE + ARP MIDI Effects
- Multiple ARPEGGIATOR Scales Receiver - control Root+Scale of Arp MIDI Effect
- Multiple SCALE Scales Receiver - control Root+Scale of Scale MIDI Effect
- Monitor + Display Root and Scale Pop-Up Window
- Multiple Scale + Root Trigger - Trigger and set settings via MIDI Controller
Those devices will work for Ableton Live 12 only - for Ableton Live 10 + 11 I have a separate pack here!
Those are Max for Live device and you will need M4L to make use of them. (M4L is included in Ableton Live Suite or as an add on towards Ableton Live Standard.)
